Welcome to Attendance Manager 2 ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
• Profile Photo: An optional avatar image you upload.
• Organization & Team Data: Names, descriptions, and settings for organizations and teams you create.
• Member Data: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, roles, and profile photos for members you add.
• Attendance Records: Attendance status (present, absent, late) and timestamps recorded during sessions.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
• Usage Data: Features used and interaction patterns (used to improve the service).
• Crash Reports: Error logs and crash data to help us fix bugs.

2.3 Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
• Create and manage your user account.
• Process and manage your subscription plan.
• Enable you to manage organizations, teams, members, and attendance records.
• Send important notices related to your account or the App.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve performance and user experience.
• Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4.1 Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party providers who assist us in operating the App, including cloud hosting, RevenueCat (subscription management), and crash reporting services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders).

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
• Secure authentication with hashed passwords.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services.

If you delete your account:

• Personal data (name, email, profile photo) is deleted within 30 days.
• Attendance records and organization data are deleted within 30 days.
• Some data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for analytics.
• Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account directly in the App under Profile > Account > Delete Account.
• Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Objection: Object to the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Withdrawal of Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

We process this data on your behalf as a data processor. You are the data controller for your members' information.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete such information promptly.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., our social media pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers located in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and displaying an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
